So, there are a few joining methods floating around out there, and each has its merits. I decided today that I would test one that looked cool to me (and that I'd read good things about on Ravelry). It's the Flat Braid Joining Technique by Priscilla Hewitt. I had some squares which hadn't turned out quite as I'd have liked (previously labeled as being for Cassidy, Austin, and me), so I decided to put them together for my puppy.
And yes, I know the squares don't match each other, but Paisley doesn't care. It helps that she's colorblind, but still. (;
